Dependency Injection: Who Cares?

The term "Dependency Injection" is thrown around in quite a few programming circles these days. Some communities, like the Java community, have multiple competing frameworks that approach the problem in different ways. For the most part, the Perl community has been quite in regards to dependency injection frameworks... what gives?
Do Perl programs even need dependency injection? Does Perl handle dependency injection easily enough without the need for a framework?
This talk will take a look at what dependency injection is and how you can use it in your Perl programs.
